Certificatie-instellingen
In onderstaand overzicht vindt u de 17 certificatie-instellingen die zijn aangesloten bij SCCM voor de certificatieschema's ISO 14001, ISO 14001/CO2-reductiemanagement, ISO 50001 en ISO 45001.
Voordelen van aansluiting bij SCCM
Aansluiting bij SCCM biedt de certificatie-instellingen samengevat de volgende voordelen:
- Gebruik van certificatieschema dat is afgestemd met alle belanghebbende partijen
- Harmonisatie van interpretaties en werkwijze met andere certificatie-instellingen
- Publicatie van afgegeven certificaten in centrale database van SCCM
- Training voor auditors
- Toegang tot samenvattingen van belangrijkste wet- en regelgeving (voor zowel auditors als gecertificeerde organisaties)
Toezicht Raad voor Accreditatie
De certificatie-instellingen staan onder toezicht van de Raad voor Accreditatie (RvA). De RvA is de door de overheid aangewezen accreditatie-instelling in Nederland. De meeste bij SCCM aangesloten certificatie-instellingen certificeren op basis van een RvA-accreditatie. Bij de contactgegevens van elke certificatie-instelling is aangegeven op basis van welke accreditatie(s) wordt gewerkt. Het toezicht van de accreditatie-instelling kan incidenteel een schorsing van een certificatie-instelling voor de geaccrediteerde activiteiten (of een deel ervan) tot gevolg hebben. Op de website van de RvA staat een overzicht van eventuele schorsingen.
Uitzonderingen toezicht RvA
Voor ISO 50001 werken niet alle certificatie-instellingen onder toezicht van een accreditatie-instelling. Het CO2-reductieschema met ISO 14001 is een SCCM-schema en staat niet onder toezicht van de RvA. Voor deze schema’s houdt SCCM zelf toezicht op de uitvoering van de audits waarbij gekeken wordt of afspraken worden nageleefd en de kwaliteit van de audits, auditoren en rapportages voldoende hoog is.
